Professional Qualifications

Since 1986, Bill Lauer has specialized in providing accounting, auditing, and consulting services for governmental and nonprofit organizations and industries. His client base includes municipalities, school districts and governmental agencies, among others. Bill's focus in this sector enables him to provide clients with solutions that are thorough, tailored to their unique needs, and adhere to the latest governmental intricacies.

To strengthen his skills in these areas, he has successfully completed the American Institute of CPAs' Certificate of Educational Achievement Program in Governmental Accounting and Auditing. In addition, on an annual basis, Bill attends a minimum of 40 hours of continuing professional education, including hours to satisfy government auditing standards. This specialized training is added to a foundation of his bachelor's degrees in accounting and finance from the University of St. Thomas, with magna cum laude graduation honors. With these credentials, Bill successfully provides MMKR clients with a variety of audit and consulting services.
